  bandleader from Colorado. Her septet is her newest project\, originally 
 coming together to perform at the inaugural Atom Jazz Festival in August 
 2026. This group\, featuring some of Colorado’s brightest young artists\,
  brings creative energy and collaboration to Alex’s original music. As a 
 composer\, Alex strives to keep storytelling at the heart of every piece.
  Her debut album\, “The Quest” (released in 2025)\, features her creative
