DESCRIPTION:Internationally renowned singer Mafalda Minnozzi makes a rare 
 appearance in Denver after a year of touring in the US\, Brazil and Europ
 e\, building on the success of her latest album RIOFONIC. Mafalda has per
 formed with legends like Milton Nascimento\, Joao Bosco\, Leny Andrade\, 
 Dave Liebman\, Joe Locke\, John Patitucci and others. She was recently aw
 arded an Italian presidential medal for her work merging Italian culture 
 with Jazz and Brazilian music around the world. Joining her will be her l
 ongtime guitarist\, musical partner\, and producer Paul Ricci. Paul Ricci
  \, a New York native\, graduated from the New England Conservatory in 19
 80 and has built an enduring career as a guitarist\, arranger\, and produ
 cer. He became a key figure in the NYC Brazilian and jazz scene and has w
 orked extensively with Bebel and Astrud Gilberto\, including the 1991 Sta
 n Getz tribute at the Hollywood Bowl including Roy Haynes\, Gary Burton\,
  Kenny Barron and George Mraz . Paul's versatility has carried him into L
 atin and Caribbean music and collaborations with Grammy-nominated drummer
