Latinx Heritage Month: Arte y Recuerdo: A Sugar Skull Workshop

Arte y Recuerdo: A Sugar Skull Workshop is an opportunity to learn about the rich traditions and cultural significance of Día de los Muertos through art and storytelling. Participants will mole their own sugar skull while exploring the history and symbolism behind this meaningful celebration, which honors and remembers loved ones who have passed. Whether you are familiar with the tradition or learning about it for the first time, this workshop offers a welcoming space to celebrate culture, creativity, and remembrance while connecting with others in community. This event is presented in collaboration with Nu Alpha Fraternity, Inc., whose partnership helps foster cultural learning, community building, and student engagement. *No registration link, open to all Auraria Campus
