Indigenous Astronomy: As Told by the Haudenosaunee

Join Samantha Doxtator (Haudenosaunee, Oneida, Wolf Clan) for an immersive journey through the stars that brings together Indigenous Knowledge, culture, and science through a Haudenosaunee perspective. Samantha carries forward the Indigenous Astronomy work and research of her late sister, Sasha, blending culture and science to create new understandings of the cosmos. She is also the first Indigenous woman to present at the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Her sharing of this knowledge has been described as a healing experience that uplifts audiences and nurtures Indigenous Gifts and Brilliance.
