Brother-to-Brother: Jerseys & Brotherhood Social

Purpose: The purpose of B2B Jerseys & Brotherhood: Link ’n Learn is to introduce students to Brother to Brother, recruit new and first-year members, and create an engaging space for students to build meaningful connections at the beginning of the academic year. Using the jersey theme as a symbol of identity, teamwork, and belonging, the event will connect students with the academic, personal, professional, and community resources available through B2B and MSU Denver. Description: Students are invited to “rep their team” and discover a new team through Brother to Brother. The event will begin with a brief presentation introducing the B2B team, mission, vision, core pillars, services, and program expectations. Students will also learn about B2B signature events, the cohort-based experience, peer mentorship opportunities, and upcoming B2B and CMEI programming. Special attention will be given to welcoming first-year and transfer students by highlighting the academic support, professional development, mentoring, identity development, and community-building opportunities available through B2B. Current members and Community Leaders will share brief experiences about how the program has supported their college journeys. Following the presentation, students may enjoy food, games, music, resource tables, and informal conversations with the B2B team, campus partners, and other students.
