Charu Suri

Musical Style: Jazz Charu Suri is a GRAMMY® nominated pianist and composer who treads fearlessly between genres, blending several styles and fusing Indian ragas with more traditional jazz. Her work has been performed all over the world, by artists including Yo Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer, Steve Gadd, John Patitucci, Ron Carter and The Preservation Hall in New Orleans. Charu was nominated for a GRAMMY® for her album, SHAYAN, composed using evening ragas to help people sleep better.
