Daryl Gott Quartet plays Art Pepper

One of Denver's most dynamic and creative voices, Daryl Gott returns to the Nocturne stage with a brilliant quartet to explore the musical legacy of the iconic Art Pepper . Daryl will be joined on stage by Jack Dunlevie (piano), Seth Lewis (bass) and Brian Claxton (drums). Saxophonist and composer Daryl Gott was born and raised in Denver. Growing up in a musical family Daryl was exposed to music and specifically jazz at a young age. He graduated from Denver School of the Arts and continued his formal music education at the City College of New York where he studied with saxophonist Jon Gordon. Daryl is established in Denver's jazz scene as an in-demand sideman and a dynamic bandleader. The 'Ellington Experience ' is the ultimate night out at Nocturne, featuring a five course tasting menu with wine pairings, served at just two tables per set in our favorite nook of the main level under the curve of the grand art deco staircase.
