Meow Wolf Convergence Station

Four floors of alien-city art in a building wedged between the highway ramps.

Meow Wolf's Denver installation opened in September 2021 in a purpose-built, oddly shaped structure tucked into the I-25 and Colfax interchange west of the Auraria campus. Convergence Station is a four-story fiction: four alien worlds collided and you wander their neighborhoods, libraries and transit stations, reading the clues if you want and just looking if you don't. Upstairs, the Perplexiplex hosts concerts and DJ nights that appear on our calendar. It takes two to three hours and it is genuinely for adults as much as kids. From Union Station it is a 25-minute walk along the Cherry Creek trail or the free 16th Street shuttle plus a walk from Auraria.

Why go. There is nothing else like it within a thousand miles, and it is twenty minutes from Union Station.

Weekday afternoons are the calm window; buy timed tickets ahead and give yourself three hours.
