Kachina Cantina
Frybread tacos and agave margaritas on the Dairy Block, across from Coors Field.
Kachina is the Dairy Block's Southwestern room, run by Sage Hospitality on the ground floor of the Maven Hotel at 19th and Wazee. The menu leans Four Corners and Baja rather than generic Tex-Mex: frybread tacos are the signature, alongside pozole blanco, a vegetable relleno, open-faced quesadillas and a long list of salsas. The margarita program is agave-forward and the 3-to-6pm happy hour runs every day. Coors Field's home plate gate is a two-minute walk, so on game days it is a pre-game restaurant first and a neighborhood one the rest of the week.
Why go. A sit-down pre-Rockies dinner with real cooking, steps from the gate.
On a home-game night either book ahead or come at 4:30; the happy hour margaritas end at 6 and the room turns over fast.
