Down beneath the Maven at the Dairy Block, reached by a trail of roses and a small elevator, which sounds like a bit and mostly is one, except the drinks are serious. The theme is Kentucky Derby: mint juleps, jewel-toned banquettes, a menu handed over as a deck of cards, a back bar of rare and vintage bottles, parlor snacks. It seats few people, takes no reservations, and runs Thursday through Sunday nights only, so the queue on a Saturday is real. Go Thursday.
