The Cherry Cricket
Build-your-own burgers and a big patio, two blocks from the gates
The Cricket has been grinding burgers in Cherry Creek since 1945; this second location opened April 17, 2018 in the old Breck on Blake space and is roughly twice the size of the original. The move is build-your-own: pick a patty, then load it with green chile, cream cheese, a fried egg, peanut butter if you want to be that person. Tots come out crisp. It gets loud and full on game nights and the patio fills first, but service is quick enough that you can eat and still make first pitch.
Why go. The most reliable burger within walking distance of Coors Field.
Join the waitlist from your phone before you leave the house on game days; the patio takes no reservations.
