Aloy Modern Thai

A Thai kitchen on Larimer near 21st, part of a small Denver group, cooking curries, noodles and grilled dishes that run slower and less sweet than the American-Thai default. The room is bright and modern, the menu is long, and it opens at 11am on weekdays, which is rare on a stretch of Ballpark that mostly does not turn the lights on until dinner. Good for a weekday lunch that is not a sandwich, and quiet enough at that hour to work through a menu properly.

Why go. A proper sit-down lunch on a block that otherwise runs to counters and bars.

Weekdays it opens at 11am but weekends not until noon, which catches Saturday walk-ups out.
