The original Denver Beer Co taproom, garage doors open onto Platte
Denver Beer Co started here on Platte Street in 2011 and the taproom still feels like a first location: garage doors that roll up in warm weather, a gravel patio, a board of small-batch beers rotating alongside the Graham Cracker Porter and Princess Yum Yum that built the name. There is no kitchen, so a food truck parks outside most days. It is the obvious first or last stop on the Platte Street strip, four minutes from Confluence Park and the REI flagship, and it is usually full of people who just came off the river trail. Dogs on the patio.
Why go. The flagship taproom of a Denver institution, right where the trail meets Platte Street.
