McGregor Square opened in 2021 on the block directly across 20th Street from Coors Field, built by Rockies owner Dick Monfort and named for Keli McGregor, the team president who died in 2010. It is a private plaza ringed by the Rally Hotel, condos, offices, Tom's Watch Bar, Carmine's, and a food hall (McGregor Square Food & Drink) that added G-Que Championship Barbeque in March 2026. The reason to know it is the 66-foot LED wall: free movie nights on the lawn (A League of Their Own screened July 30, 2026), Broncos and Rockies away games, and in June 2026 the World Cup watch parties, some of which the plaza started charging admission for after advertising them as free, which fans did not love. It also hosts the Denver Derby Party and Premier League watch parties. Bring a blanket; the plaza tables are first-come.
Why go. A giant outdoor screen and a place to sit before or after anything at Coors Field.
On game days it is the natural pregame meeting point; for the free screenings, arrive 45 minutes early with a blanket, and check whether the event you want is ticketed before you go.
