Star Bar is the low-ceilinged, red-lit dive on the 2100 block of Larimer that predates the Ballpark neighborhood's makeover and never got one. Karaoke several nights a week, live bands and DJs on others, whiskey specials, a photo booth and a back patio. It opens at 4pm and runs to 2am, so it works as the anti-ViewHouse: the place to go after the game when you want a stiff drink and no rooftop.
Why go. Karaoke and a real dive within walking distance of Coors Field.
