Swanky's Vittles & Libations
Old-school bar and grill two doors from the Coors Field gates
It has been on this stretch of Blake since 1998, which in a block that has turned over three times makes it something close to furniture. The room is a bar and grill in the plain sense: burgers, wings, a long bar, televisions, and a patio pointed at the ballpark. On a game day it is a staging area and it fills two hours before first pitch. On a Wednesday in February it is nearly empty and pleasant. It closes Mondays and Tuesdays, which catches people out.
Why go. Closest thing to a pre-game local left on Blake Street.
Closed Monday and Tuesday, so do not plan a quiet weeknight around it.
