Richard Sandoval has held this corner of Larimer Square since 2001, which in Denver restaurant terms is close to geological. The kitchen does modern Mexican with a long tequila and mezcal list, and the rooftop terrace over Larimer is the reason to book in summer. It shut on New Year's Day 2025 for a full renovation and reopened on March 4 that year with a redesigned room, so the space you walk into now is only a year old even though the restaurant is twenty-five.
Why go. A rooftop over Larimer Square with tequila and a kitchen that has earned its corner.
Ask for the terrace when you book; the interior is new and handsome but the roof is what you came for.
