A ten-seat, seventeen-course omakase hidden behind a burger counter on Larimer Square.
Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee opened this Denver counter on December 31, 2024, in the basement of the old TAG space, and you reach it by walking through NADC Burger. Ten seats, three seatings a night, seventeen courses at $195 plus a 20 percent service charge; fish comes from Toyosu market in Tokyo and nearly everything else, down to the soy sauce, is made in house. Their Austin and Montecito counters hold Michelin stars and this one runs to the same script. Arrive half an hour early for the welcome cocktail and canapes.
Why go. The most ambitious sushi tasting menu in downtown Denver, and one of the few real splurges on Larimer Square.
Book on SevenRooms weeks out for a Friday or Saturday; the 9:30pm seating and weeknights open up more often.
