The Crawford Hotel
Sleep upstairs from the Great Hall, named for the woman who saved the neighborhood.
The Crawford opened in July 2014 in the upper floors of the restored Union Station and is named for Dana Crawford, the preservationist who saved Larimer Square in the 1960s and led the station's revival. The 112 rooms come in three styles (Pullman, Classic, Loft) and the Great Hall is your lobby, with the Cooper Lounge above it and the A Line to the airport out the back door. It is the hotel to book if you want to be inside the postcard.
Why go. You are staying in the building the neighborhood is built around.
Ask for a Pullman room facing the train shed if you like watching trains; a Wynkoop-side room if you want quiet.
