The Curtis Hotel

Pop-culture themed floors across the street from the Arts Complex, recently renovated.

A DoubleTree that behaves nothing like one: every floor at the Curtis has a theme, from horror movies to one-hit wonders to big hair, and the elevator lobbies commit to it. It sits directly across Curtis Street from the Denver Performing Arts Complex, which makes it the practical choice for a show night when Hotel Teatro is booked or over budget. The whole property was renovated recently. It is not a quiet, tasteful hotel and it is not trying to be one, which is either the reason to book it or the reason not to.

Why go. Theater-district location at a price the boutique hotels down the block do not offer.

Ask which floor theme you are getting when you book; the difference between them is the whole point of staying here.
