The Auraria Event Center is the campus arena on 5th Street, home floor for Metropolitan State University of Denver's Roadrunners basketball and volleyball teams and the site of a lot of campus events that never make the papers. Tickets are cheap and the games are good Division II basketball, an easy alternative when Ball Arena is priced for a playoff run.
Why go. Real college basketball for the price of a beer, on a campus most Denverites never walk through.
