Degree Brewpub

Opened February 1, 2024 on the Auraria edge, in a partnership between the SpringHill Suites hotel and Metropolitan State University's hospitality department. The students are the staff, which is the whole point: this is a teaching brewpub where the beer, the burgers and the service are coursework. Prices reflect that, and so does the earnestness. It sits between campus, Ball Arena and Empower Field, so it fills up with a strange and cheerful mix before events. Closed Sundays.

Why go. Cheap, decent house beer within walking distance of Ball Arena, and your money teaches somebody a trade.

Get there before an arena event rather than after; it closes at ten and will not catch the postgame crowd.
