Blue Sparrow Coffee
Light-roast espresso at the foot of the Highland bridge, dogs welcome
The Platte Street shop of a Denver roaster that keeps winning the local best-coffee polls, and the one to hit if you are walking the Highland pedestrian bridge or coming out of REI. Big, bright, kombucha on tap, an almond croissant regulars are loud about, and, unusually, an outlet at nearly every seat, which makes it a real work room rather than a place that tolerates laptops. Dog friendly, indoor and outdoor seating, open 6:30 to 5:30 seven days.
Why go. Best light-roast espresso within walking distance of Confluence Park.
Every seat has an outlet, which is why it fills with laptops by nine; come early or take the patio.
