Malinche Audiobar

Jose Avila, who runs La Diabla in Ballpark, opened this on October 10, 2025 as Denver's first serious listening bar. The records are his own collection of vintage Mexican pressings, played through speakers, amps, tables and a bar that were mostly built by hand; Avila puts the figure at ninety-five percent. The food is what he calls Nikkei-Mexa, Japanese technique on Mexican ingredients, short menu, no filler. It opens in the morning as a coffee shop pouring Convivio and selling house pan dulce, then turns into a bar.
