Southeast Asian cooking through French technique, and those soup dumplings

Lon Symensma's downtown flagship, on the Blake Street side of the block, built on Asian ingredients handled with French method. The kaya toast and the French onion soup dumpling have been on the menu long enough to be the reason most people book, and they are still the right order. It is a proper sit-down dinner in a room that stays loud enough to feel alive without shouting. Closed Sundays, which catches people out. Sibling restaurants sit in Sloan's Lake and inside Milk Market.

Why go. The French onion soup dumpling is a genuinely famous Denver dish and it is still made here.

Come at 11:30 for lunch on a weekday if you want the same kitchen without the dinner wait; Sunday it is shut.
