Dairy Block

The Windsor Dairy processed milk in these brick buildings between 18th and 19th from the 1920s until the 1980s; in 2017 the block reopened as Dairy Block, a city block you can walk through the middle of. The spine is The Alley, a pedestrian lane between the buildings hung with lights and art and lined with bar and shop doors. Anchors are the Maven Hotel and Denver Milk Market, Frank Bonanno's food hall that opened June 1, 2018 with a dozen counters (pizza, pasta, burgers, oysters, a bakery, Little Man ice cream) and got a refresh in 2024 with a game room. In April 2026 Marczyk Fine Foods opened a small 'Mighty Market' grocery counter inside it. Not everyone is sold: a 2025 Reddit thread called the shops half-empty, and food-hall turnover is constant. Two blocks from Coors Field, it is at its best as a pregame stop or a rainy-day wander.

Why go. Eleven food counters, a covered alley and a hotel bar all inside one block, two minutes from the ballpark.

Enter The Alley from Wazee, eat at Milk Market before a Rockies game when it is busiest and freshest, and use the underground garage off Wewatta if you drive.
