The Maven Hotel at Dairy Block

The Maven anchors Dairy Block, the redeveloped Windsor Dairy complex between Wazee and Blake, and it is the most design-driven of the LoDo hotels — local art through the public spaces, a lobby that works as a bar, dogs welcome. Downstairs and next door you get Kachina Cantina for Southwestern cooking, Poka Lola Social Club for cocktails, and Denver Milk Market, a two-level food hall in the old creamery building. Coors Field is three blocks. The alley outside is lit and programmed at night, so this is not the address for a quiet weekend.

Why go. You can eat, drink and sleep without leaving one city block, and it is a good block.

Ask for a room off the alley side if you want silence — the Dairy Block alley runs loud and late on weekends.
