Naturally leavened loaves, pastry and coffee from the original shop
Matt Quinlisk opened Hearth in RiNo in 2022 and has since added Uptown and Highlands locations, but this is the first one, tucked into the S*Park building at 25th and Lawrence. It is a bakery before it is a cafe: naturally leavened sourdough, laminated pastry, and coffee that holds its end up. Bread sells through, so an afternoon visit gets you a pastry and an apology.
Why go. The best loaf of bread within walking distance of Coors Field.
Loaves come out mid-morning; if you want bread rather than pastry, be there before 11am.
