This is the Big Apple Bagels / My Favorite Muffin franchise on the 16th Street end of Wynkoop, and it does one job: a quick, cheap breakfast before a train, a shift or a game. Oversized muffins, boiled-and-baked bagels, egg sandwiches and drip coffee, mostly to go, with a few tables. It has been on this corner for well over a decade and closes at 2pm, so it is a morning place, not a hangout.
Why go. Sub-ten-dollar breakfast near Union Station without a line out the door.
Weekday mornings before 8am are the sweet spot; on Rockies day games the line stretches around 10.
