Rush Bowls
Thick blended fruit bowls, open from seven in the morning
A Boulder-born bowl shop on Central Street doing thick blended fruit bases under granola and honey, plus smoothies. It opens at 7am every day, which makes it one of the few things on this side of the bridge serving actual breakfast that isn't coffee and a pastry. Portions are generous, substitutions cost extra, and the whole transaction takes five minutes. The Platte River Trail is two blocks away, so it functions as the before or after for a run.
Why go. Breakfast you can eat one-handed before a run on the river path.
Substitutions add two to four dollars fast - the standard builds are the better value.
