The Lobby
Southern-leaning breakfast and bottomless mimosas inside an 1891 hotel lobby
The building went up in 1891 as the Paris Hotel, and the restaurant sits in what was literally the lobby: exposed brick, hardwood, tall windows, and a shaded courtyard out back that most people walk right past. The menu runs Southern-ish breakfast and brunch, with fifteen craft taps and a mimosa program people plan their morning around. The kitchen shuts at 4pm every day, so this is not a dinner spot. On Rockies afternoons it fills with people eating before they walk the four blocks over to Coors Field.
Why go. It is the rare downtown brunch room with a real courtyard and no rush to turn the table.
Everything shuts down at 4pm, so come before noon on a weekend and ask for a courtyard table.
