Urban Farmer
Farm-sourced steakhouse attached to the Oxford Hotel, with brunch and a butcher's bent.
Urban Farmer took over the corner of 17th and Wazee beside the Oxford Hotel, Denver's oldest hotel, and does the Sage Hospitality version of a steakhouse: whole-animal butchery, a charcuterie program, steaks labeled by ranch and feed, and a room that leans wood and leather without going full clubhouse. It is a hotel restaurant, so it also serves weekend brunch and keeps the bar open between services. Prices are steakhouse prices. The Cruise Room, the Oxford's 1933 art deco bar, is through the lobby if you want a martini first.
Why go. A steak dinner or a slow weekend brunch a block from Union Station, with the Oxford's history attached.
Happy hour Mon–Fri 4–6pm at the bar is the affordable way in; brunch weekends from 9am rarely needs a long wait.
