The New York cocktail institution's second act, in a RiNo hotel lobby
The second Death & Co, opened in the Ramble Hotel in 2018 and the bar that pulled serious cocktail attention east from LoDo into RiNo. Unlike the cramped East Village original, this one is a big lobby room with couches and a full dinner menu, so you can drink at that level without booking a month out. Walk-ins are taken first come for parties up to eight. Two more rooms hang off it: Suite 6A, a small lounge on the mezzanine overlooking the lobby, and The Garden, open seasonally Wednesday to Sunday.
Why go. A genuinely great cocktail program you can usually walk into.
Walk-ins only for most seats, so come at three when it opens or after ten; the 7pm crush is the one to avoid.
