Denver ChopHouse & Brewery
1940s-style steakhouse and brewery in a 1923 railroad building at Coors Field's door.
The ChopHouse opened in 1995, the same year as Coors Field across the street, inside the former Union Pacific Railroad signal headhouse. It is a steakhouse with its own brewery, so you get filet and prime rib beside house ales, plus a cheaper tavern menu in the bar. The room plays up a 1940s supper club feel with wood, brass and booths, and it fills fast on game days. It changed hands in 2020 and again in 2025 but has kept the same name, building and format.
Why go. A sit-down steak or a bar burger and a house beer within a hundred yards of the ballpark gates.
Reserve on game days; the bar side is the faster, cheaper move if you just want a beer and the tavern menu.
