Hapa's LoDo room opened in September 2012 in the old India House on Blake and has run on the same formula since: long roll list with the joke names the chain is known for, decent nigiri, and a happy hour that runs every day from 2:30 to 5:30 with two rolls for $12 and cheap hot sake. On Fridays and Saturdays a second happy hour kicks in from 10pm to midnight, which makes it one of the few places on Blake where a late dinner does not cost a fortune. Expect a young, loud crowd on game nights.
Why go. Two-for-$12 rolls at 3pm or 11pm, a short walk from Coors Field.
The 2:30–5:30 happy hour is also available for online pickup only until 4:30, so order ahead if you are heading to a game.
