Linger
The old Olinger Mortuary, with the best rooftop view of the skyline
Justin Cucci took the Olinger Mortuary building in 2011, knocked two letters off the sign so it reads Linger, and left enough of the old fittings in place that you can still read the room's former job. The menu is street food from everywhere, served small; the rooftop is why people book. It sits directly above Little Man Ice Cream at the top of the Highland Bridge, so the view runs straight down the valley to downtown. Reserve, particularly for the roof on a summer evening.
Why go. The skyline view from the roof is the one to show somebody visiting Denver.
Ask for the rooftop when you book and go at sunset; the roof is first to fill and last to be released.
