Little Man Ice Cream
A 28-foot steel milk can at the bridge top, open till midnight
Paul Tamburello built the milk can in 2008, inspired by the roadside attractions his family stopped at on drives, and it turned into eleven Colorado shops and a factory on West Colfax. The LoHi original still draws the line, which on a summer Saturday night can run most of a block; there is an express window with a shorter flavor list for people who know what they want. Scoop for Scoop sends a scoop of rice or beans abroad for every one sold here. Vegan and gluten-free flavors daily.
Why go. It is the landmark at the top of the bridge, and the ice cream justifies the queue.
Use the express line if your flavor is on it, and go after 9pm on a weeknight when the plaza empties out.
