A plain corner liquor store on Inca Street, north and west of Coors Field, where the Union Station apartment blocks give way to older brick. Cold beer by the six-pack, a workable wine wall, and spirits without ceremony. The value here is the hours and the location: it is open until eleven most nights and midnight on weekends, and it is the closest bottle shop for a lot of people walking home from a game or a Platte Street dinner. Cash-and-carry, in and out in three minutes.

Why go. The last stop before home when everything closer to Union Station has shut.
