Middle Eastern mezze served straight through the afternoon
A Mediterranean and Middle Eastern room on 33rd doing hummus, labneh, kofta, roasted carrots and pita from the oven, open every day from 11 to 10 with happy hour in the middle of the afternoon. That last part matters: almost every other kitchen up here shuts between lunch and dinner, so this is where you end up at 3:30. Order it as a table of small plates rather than a dish each. A short walk from Linger and El Five when the wait there is unreasonable.
Why go. The kitchen that's still open when the rest of LoHi is between services.
Happy hour runs 3 to 6, exactly when nothing else around here is serving.
